Repair reporting and maintenance for landlords
A tenant's report arrives as a numbered job on the right home, not a text message you have to remember. You send it to a contractor, they answer with one tap, and the job stays open until it is done and paid.
Tenants report on your page
Your page, at yourname.datestone.io, has a report form a tenant can use without an account. They say what is wrong, how urgent it is and can add photos. A tenant who emails you instead is filed the same way. They get an acknowledgement with the job's reference, and can check where it is up to.
Send it to a contractor
Offer the job to one contractor or a few by email. They accept or decline with one tap, with no account to make. An offer nobody answers comes back to you after 48 hours, so a job never sits waiting on a silent inbox.
Every reply, on the job
When a tenant or contractor replies to an email about a job, the reply lands on that job, with any photos or invoices they attach, and you are emailed straight away. A contractor's invoice stays with the office: it is never sent on to the tenant.
Stages you can see
Each job moves through the stages you would name yourself: visit booked, quoted, accepted, in progress, done, paid. Your morning email lists new reports and anything that has stalled, across every home.
Questions
- Does the tenant need an account to report a repair?
- No. The report form on your page needs no account. The tenant gets an email with the job's reference, and replies to it land on the job.
- Do contractors need to sign up?
- No. A contractor gets the job by email and accepts or declines with one tap. Their replies and invoices come back onto the job.
